The face of Maydaleh is familiar to quite few young people throughout Jerusalem. Maydale can be seen walking around the market and city center at night, showing up at concerts, and visiting the various campuses. But have you ever thought about who’s behind this huge project? That’s exactly where Or is. Or is the man behind Maydale (and for the millionth time, no, he’s not actually inside the doll!).
He’s the one who answers your questions on Facebook, Whatsapp and phone calls. He’s the one going back and forth between the property tax and parking departments, and the 106 call center, the student unions and pretty much everywhere else, to solve everything that needs solving. Or is here to make sure that you receive the best possible response to all of your questions about life in Jerusalem.
Somehow, Or also manages to be active in important social struggles such as in the HQ for the campaign to free Avra Mengesto and the coalition for direct employment of contract workers. At home he has his wife, his son, and Shimi the dog waiting for him.
