Lena Trayberman – Social Activism Coordinator for Recent Immigrants

Lena came to Israel in 2012, but somehow people still tend to think she is a tourist. She studied psychology and graphic design and played in the university’s soccer team. She may seem gentle, but Lena can move mountains when she wants. Even when it comes to her coffee, she takes it black, strong, with no sugar.

During the rest of the time Lena coordinates that leadership and activism fields for young recent immigrants who came to Jerusalem. Among the immigrants who come to us there are lots of talented people with groundbreaking ideas; Lena helps them get their ideas going and opens doors for them so the language barrier and limited familiarity with relevant parties don’t serve as an obstacle.
